Question 1

How does your advisory process work?

Accepted Answer

We start with a consultation to understand your capital raising goals, target investor audience, and timeline. From there, we develop an outreach and engagement strategy, build the infrastructure (CRM pipelines, investor-ready collateral, and lead management funnels), and run continuous investor outreach across our four distribution channels. Every engagement is tailored to your offering and market.

Question 2

What types of companies do you work with?

Accepted Answer

We work with growth companies, asset managers, fund managers, and public companies across a range of sectors who are seeking to raise capital or expand their investor base. Whether you are pre-IPO, newly public, or running a fund that needs broader distribution, our advisory process adapts to your stage and objectives.

Question 3

How long does a typical engagement last?

Accepted Answer

Outreach programs run on a monthly retainer. Pipelines are built by showing up every week, and industry research puts the average at 8 touchpoints before a first meeting happens, so short bursts do not work. Advisory and infrastructure engagements, such as CRM builds, governance frameworks, or IPO readiness assessments, are scoped to your needs and timeline. We discuss the right structure during your initial consultation.

Question 4

Are you a registered dealer or broker?

Accepted Answer

No. Darkstar Capital provides investor outreach, marketing, and introduction services on behalf of issuers and investment managers. We are not a registered dealer, adviser, or broker, do not solicit or execute trades in securities, do not handle client or investor funds, and do not provide investment advice or recommendations. All investment decisions are made solely between investors and the issuers or registered firms involved.

Question 5

What investor audiences can you reach?

Accepted Answer

We have access to 22M+ contacts through licensed enterprise data platforms across four primary channels: retail investors, high net worth individuals (HNWI), family offices, and institutional investors, including pension funds and endowments, across the United States and Canada. We tailor your outreach strategy to the channels most relevant to your offering.

Question 6

How do you measure success?

Accepted Answer

We track qualified investor meetings booked, pipeline progression through engagement stages, outreach activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings, events), and ultimately the investor connections that lead to committed capital. Our CRM infrastructure provides full transparency into your pipeline health at every stage of the process.

Question 7

What do you need from us to get started?

Accepted Answer

After an initial consultation, we typically need your investment thesis, existing offering materials (pitch deck, CIM, fact sheets), target investor profile, and any current investor pipeline data. From there, we handle the rest: refining collateral, building outreach lists, running campaigns, and managing your investor pipeline end to end.
